Summary:
Atheros kernel modules ath_pci and ath_hal loaded and worked fine under
2.6.20-15 but for the recent update to -16 those modules would not autoload at
startup
and when I tried to modprobe ath_pci I saw the following
ath_hal: module license 'Proprietary' taints kernel
Rolling back to the 2.6.20-15 kernel and linux-restricted-modules makes my wifi
working again.
