I have two wireless cards that I am getting the exact same error with the first is a Siemens card and I dont know if there is a driver for the card. The other card that I am using and getting the same problem with is a Senao card which I know the drivers should work. I did have success booting my laptop using a PCMCIA serial card but then again I dont know if linux has the drivers for that. Do you have anymore specs on your laptop?
