The first thing you should do is remove the 'options snd-hda-intel
model=dell-m6-dmic' line you added to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf
file (dell-m6-dmic is not a valid model name for the Realtek ALC889
codec).

If you continue to experience the issue after rebooting, please attach
an updated alsa info: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Audio/AlsaInfo
