Public bug reported:

While upgrading to Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS got an Error:
 "Could not install '/var/cache/apt/archives/ntfs-3g_1%3a2012.1.15AR.1-1ubuntu'
The upgrade will continue but the
'/var/cache/apt/archives/ntfs-3g_1%3a2012.1.15AR.1-1ubuntu' package may not be
in a working state. Please consider submitting a bug report about it.

Upgrade was performed via: System Settings --> Software Updates.

Also, unable to access: '/var/log/dist-upgrade/' via file browser or
command line due to various errors. Guessing some older packages were
uninstalled, but new ones hasn't been installed yet.

 Thanks.
