I can confirm that the released fix does not fix this bug on 12.04. Jockey version 0.9.7-0ubuntu76 in 12.04 proposed is completly un-usable. Please see the attached file for the console output errors.
It has been 8 months since 12.04, a long term release, has been in use. This highly visible bug has been an eyesore for the entire time.
