Public bug reported:

Software-Center do not record any history of change, installed, upgraded
3 party packages, like

download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/4.2.6/virtualbox-4.2_4.2.6-82870~Ubuntu~quantal_amd64.deb

, which was installed by doubleclick with Software-Center itself.

Expected:
--------------

Software-Center should record a history on 3 party packages which it has
installed by itself.

Steps to reproduce:
---------------------------
1.Download the package of virtualbox4.2.6 from the address given above.
2.Open the Download folder with nautílus and double click on the virtualbox.deb
3.See Software-Center starting and install the package
4.Look in history of Software-Center and see no entries.
5.Use the search function in the history and see no entries of virtualbox4.2.6
6.Recognize that you are also unable to deinstall the package this way
(->serious!).
