I also got in on Ubuntustudio 12.10 and the workaround suggested by Serhiy Kuznyetsov worked for me. In the live session started after the error, on a terminal I typed: sudo apt-get remove ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntustudio and then I was successful in installling the system by the icon on the desktop.
