The lock screen is handled by gnome-shell, so this is unlikely a gdm issue. gnome-screensaver is only used in fallback mode (and Unity).
Can you reproduce the issue and then attach '~/.cache/gdm/session.log' (You willl need to switch to a VT and grab the file before restarting gdm/g-s or it will get overwritten) Also you may want to try installing gnome-settings-daemon from gnome3-team ppa, that will fix atleast one issue where the internal X screensaver fires when it shouldnt ** Package changed: gdm (Ubuntu) => gnome-shell (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1087701 Title: Lock screen broken after suspend/resume To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1087701/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
