On pc Debian x86-64 with 3.6 sources updated some days ago, I don't reproduce this.
1) I retrieved first attachment, opened it, the comment was written on black on light yellow, so ok. 2) I changed a cell, saved in xls, reopen the file, same behaviour On Win7 64 with 3.6.4.3, idem.
