I ran into same issue after I removed my ecrypt'ed $HOME and tried to start conky & some apps using wine.
$ conky -c /home/xxxxx/.conky/conky-autostart WARNING: gnome-keyring:: couldn't connect to: /tmp/keyring-YiWUvh/pkcs11: No such file or directory I use UbuntuStudio 12.04.1 LTS ; lightdm ; xfce 4.8. I do only see a gnome-keyring-daemon process. I followed the workaround with /etc/pkcs11/modules/gnome-keyring-module file edit, which did not solve it either. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/932177 Title: XFCE (and other non-GNOME) desktops do not initialise gnome-keyring correctly / WARNING: gnome-keyring:: couldn't connect to PKCS11 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-keyring/+bug/932177/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
