Public bug reported:
I tried to install ubuntu 7.04 in 3 different versions
1st the X64 desktop version after the start up sound of the live system the
computer freezes
i tried to uses the 386 desktop version instead the same thing happened
3rd i used the alternate install version. this time the installation worked
fine, but after booting from the harddisk mycomputer stucked again. No Startup
sound this time.
Im using the following hardware:
Mainboard: MSI K8T Neo-V
Graphics: Sapphire Radeon 9600 Pro Atlantis
RAM: 2 Kingston KVR400x64c3a/512 512MB PC3200 CL3 184-Pin Dimms
HArddisk: 2 Maxtor 6L080L0 80GB on primary Ide
DVD- Burner: TSST corp CD/DVDw SH-S128D on secondary ide
