Public bug reported: Saturday Evening 08 DEC 2012 @ 2149 EST
I have a ASUS Motherboard 12GB RAM, 1TB HD etc. I have been using Ubuntu 10.04 LTS for a long time. A few weeks ago....I lost Sound on Ubuntu... It appeared to disappear after I in installed a update....That's when I was aware the I had NO sound with 10.04 LTS. I dualboot with WIN7 Home Preium... the Sound is fine in Windows 7......Both OS use the same hardware/firmware...etc. I thought that maybe if I Upgraded to 12.04 LTS I would get my sound back......WRONG! So, Please give me some help in restoring sound to Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.......
