Public bug reported: After backing up with deja dup to an external hard drive, I safely removed drive with nautilus and got a kernel oops. I was unable to do anything but reboot. After rebooting, I got the Debian screen, so I ran recovery mode and fsck. The resolution was a little weird, but I rebooted again and everything was fine. Apparently, the kernel was unable to write to disk, because nothing matching the call trace showed up in dmesg. However, I did get an image image of call trace (attached).
