As a matter of interest, modern xen provides the qemu device model in which case .qcow2 files are directly usable by Xen. Indeed we are using the Ubuntu cloud images for exactly that. I am told that it works fine under Xen 4.1 (but minus some of the fancy live snapshotting), and fine under Xen 4.2 (+/- some other exciting but largely unrelated issues in Xen4.2).
I believe that the xen 4.2 current tree also has a blktap2 qcow2 driver in. Is the requirement here for supporting Xen pre 4.0? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1087294 Title: please provide downloads of full disk images in raw format To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1087294/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
