The second error message: FAILED [HIGH] KlogACPIErrorMethodExecutionParse: Test 1, HIGH Kernel message: [77191.628769] ACPI Error: Method parse/execution failed [\_SB_.PCI0.SBRG.LPTE._SRS] (Node ffff88002cfc0488), AE_AML_BUFFER_LIMIT (20110623/psparse-536)
ADVICE: Method failed: ResourceSourceIndex is present but ResourceSource is not. This is the ACPI interpreter noting that the CreateByteFields() are overflowing the short buffer and this trips this subsequent AML BUFFER LIMIT (i.e. overflow) error. The ADVICE from fwts is not helpful, I will check why that is less than helpful. So, as it stands, I think we have a firmware bug. The PCI _SRS is not functioning correctly, we may be seeing the link control being set incorrectly, so we may have some underlying PCI issues when doing S3 at the worst case. So I suggest this needs fixing. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1076979 Title: [Dell Optiplex 760] - Fails S3 Suspend To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1076979/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
