Public bug reported: Binary package hint: acpi-support
I've installed a clean install of Tribe 2 on a Fujitsu Amilo A1650g: cat /var/lib/acpi-support/*-* R01-A1I FUJITSU SIEMENS AMILO A1650G -1 The cpu is getting up to 87c degrees... This never happened on Feisty/Edgy nor Dapper (tested with the same running processes). For now I did: sudo chmod 777 /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor sudo echo "powersave" >> /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor Please could anyone confirm if its common or just affects my laptop? ** Affects: acpi-support (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- gutsy regression: very high temp on turion 64 CPU https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/124765 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
