I do not boot to Unity or an HP pavillion nor any branded one. What I have is my desktop parts assembled, to name a few (Asus P5NSLI, Intel 775 CPU, NVidia GPU). No issues at all with Kernel 3.5 . It gets to as far as loading the CPU Clock speed then it hangs even if it is on Recovery Mode.
