Public bug reported:

On boot I get the text message similiar to "microcode failed to load".

An investigation in the kernel.log shows:

The boot of the system is verry slow, but there are not any obvious 
misbehaviours.

This occures since kernel 3.6.x. The kernel 3.5.x serie was not affected
as far I can remember.
