Yes, this has been happening to me running Ubuntu 12.10 x64 and LibreOffice Version 3.6.2.2 (Build ID: 360m1(Build:2)) the dialog boxes are not displaying. When it occurs all dialogs won't display which requires closing all LO documents and reopening them. Then they'll usually turn on.
