I also have a Crucial M4 SSD and was experiencing a very similar problem. Boot was fast, but resume from suspend was extremely slow and unstable, with the COMRESET failed (errno=-16) appearing every time. Many times it would just crash upon resume.
My previous fix was to go into the BIOS and change the SATA mode from AHCI to Compatibility. Upon upgrading to firmware 010G, I have not had any issues so far in AHCI mode. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/991040 Title: COMRESET failed (errno=-16) on Intel SSD To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/991040/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
