*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1057000 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1057000
Sorry for the duplicate. Lauchpad did not mention 1057000 although I could remember that I read about an issue. Here is a workaround: Activating NVidia 310 experimental drivers works fine. There seems to be no negative impacts. As usual, activating a NVidia driver disables the graphical boot. I get the impression that NVidia disables those on purpose so that their main target OS looks better. In /boot/grub/gfxblacklist.txt comment out any card ID Viola: Graphical boot and beautifully working launchbar as intended. Question: Why does that have to be done by hand? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1083340 Title: unity launchbar does not show To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/1083340/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
