When I have an external monitor hooked up to my laptop, it corrupts my ability to access application menus for windows that are opened on my laptop's native monitor. My laptop monitor is at 1440 x 900 (16:10) resolution. The video shows this monitor exhibiting the behaviour. Watch the menu disappear before I can click on any menu option! My external monitor is at 1920 x 1080 (16:9) resolution. Application menus are accessible just fine on this monitor. If I unplug the external monitor, the native monitor stops exhibiting this misbehaviour. - As you can see, in the attached video, I can't move too far right before - the whole menu loses hover-focus and goes away.
