Public bug reported: Attempting to boot my MacBook Air with kernel 3.7.0.2.6 fails to display lightdm unless I remove 'splash' from the kernel command-line.
Interestingly, with 'splash', the screen is black, but when I power off, I see fleetingly the X.org cross-hairs cursor.
