This somehow just bit me as well. I actually want the default unix behavior that requires a tripple click to select the entire address bar. Somehow doubleClickSelectsAll got turned on for me, in Ubuntu 12.04. I think that it's stupid to default this to true in Unix, even if changed behavior when this bug was originally RESOLVED FIXED close to a decade ago.
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Browser.urlbar.doubleClickSelectsAll On Linux, I have the default of both singleClickSelectsAll and doubleClickSelectsAll to false to closely match the behavior of other apps. I've been using Firefox since it's inception and as far as I can remember this has always been the behavior. Is there another bug to request that Linux default to both being false, despite the expectation on other OSes? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/50254 Title: Ctrl-Backspace should stop_at_punctuation To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/firefox/+bug/50254/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
