Hello All, Please be aware that acidrip is largely a GUI for mencoder. This fault exists at the mencoder level. I have compiled the latest svn source code of mplayer (which includes mencoder) and the problem still persists.
Reverting back to version 1.0rc3 (available here: http://www.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/MPlayer-1.0rc3.tar.bz2) solves the problem.
