Please help. <--- Noob I have been using Ubuntu for about 6-months and everything was going great. Today I logged on and the UI has been mysteriously been reset. My mouse icon went from being the standard arrow to an " X " and instead of having 4 workspaces in the main title bar, I have one. I used to be able to check for Ubuntu updates from the main title bar, and now that is gone too. When I open a program, the window size is fixed at 1/4 the size of my screen. I cannot grab a corner and resize the window. The ability to have programs tiled is gone. I logged off and logged back on, but this did nothing. I shut down and restarted my PC, but this did nothing. Please help me. I really love using Ubuntu and I don't want to go back to using friggin Microsoft Windows (ugh!).
