Reverting to Precise's bluez did not eliminate the problem. However, when I booted into my last Precise kernel (3.2.0-32-generic) my Bluetooth became as reliable as it was before. This is even with the latest bluez (4.101-0ubuntu6).
So, this is not a bluez problem, but a regression in Linux between kernel 3.2 and 3.5. ** Tags added: kernel-bug regression-update ** Package changed: bluez (Ubuntu) => linux (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1072234 Title: Bluetooth mouse randomly disconnects To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1072234/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
