I've tried to include the fix in upstream [1][2], but I was told "we need a patch with a "Signed-off-by" line of the original autor"[3]. And the patch was not accepted.
I've tried to contact the original author (draekko) but I couldn't. Do we really need all of this departmentalism to this very simple patch? Could someone from the Ubuntu Kernel Team help with this bug?
