I tried with a new clean profile - at first nothing happened. I tried again a few times and clean-profile firefox froze, just as before. Steps to reproduce: 1) Open about 20 tabs in Firefox 2) run gnome-theme-manager 3) Change your Gnome theme to anything else 4) Voila - Firefox will now eat 100% of your CPU and freeze for pretty long time.
