Public bug reported: I'm trying Quantal in an Intel Core i3 with integrated graphics, and the kernel is crashing consistently in a few situations, e.g. starting a XBMC Session from the login screen. Logout causes X to hang on `modprobe i915`, and stracing modprobe shows that it spinlocked on reading /sys/modules/i915/state.
