Yes, Stéphane-- what you described in your bug report is exactly what happens here. I didn't report the bug about the misbehaviour of the launcher because I thought it was because my computer is not really expected to run Ubuntu well and because I wasn't able to reproduce it, but the two things happen here. I think you should open a new bug report for each problem, though.
