I understand why you ask these questions.  My brother used to be a
programmer.  And I helped him debug things.  I actually hadn't run or
select any packages for it to crash.  It simply crashes as soon as I
turn it on.  Sometimes it takes it a minute or so, but I could just let
it sit there and then it would crash.  Not sure if there were any
conflicts going on between two programs???  Sometimes I could try to
install a program, like blender, then as I'm installing blender, then
window would come up telling me that it was crashing.  One thing you may
want to keep in mind.  I don't know if you remember me telling you that
I have a cable modem with comcast and have VoIP with Sunrocket or not.
But I was having connectivity problems with 7.10 without trying to
install any programs.  So, I don't know if part of it might be that it
was trying to get on the Internet trying to download some of the
components or not was helping some of the problems or not?
