Peter, visit the PPA website [1] and look at the top right: There you
can see something similar to

libreoffice 3 hours 50 minutes ago 
Currently building

It says: "Currently building". You have to wait until the package
finishes building. This takes some time, because libreoffice is a big
package. You can also click on "View package details" and look at the
"Build Status" column. There you can see that the i386 and amd64 are
still being built.
