No, I don't. But looking at Ubuntu 12.04 I see now that linux-image- virtual (3.2.0-33) did not contain the JFS module as well. "apt-cache search jfs" does not return any kernel images.
I guess listing all the modules provided by linux-image-extra would make its description overly long (Are there any "hidden" tags for apt to parse, so that "apt-cache search jfs" would match on linux-image-extra but "apt-cache show linux-image-extra" would not show the entire module list?) So yes, installing linux-image-extra-virtual does fix this issue. Oh, and if I'd only used apt-file before filing this "bug": $ apt-file search jfs.ko linux-image-3.5.0-17-lowlatency: /lib/modules/3.5.0-17-lowlatency/kernel/fs/jfs/jfs.ko linux-image-extra-3.5.0-17-generic: /lib/modules/3.5.0-17-generic/kernel/fs/jfs/jfs.ko (Btw, "ufs.ko" is provided by linux-image-3.5.0-17-generic, but not "jfs.ko"?
