I can't speak for other dialogs. Right now, I can't reproduce this bug
(even on the "Save As" dialog -- as reported).

It has occurred more than once for me, yet I can never seem to
*intentionally* reproduce it.

** Description changed:

  When I need to print an envelope, I use the attached file as a template.
  I open it up, change the address information, and I'll usually save it
  as a new filename if I intend to mail that company or person in the
