The bug description says "The bug is fixed in a newer version of evolution-mapi". This is incorrect.
A link is given (https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=682449 , where the claim that the issue is fixed is made, only to be refuted further down in the comments if you keep reading). As such, this bug is not fixed, there does not currently appear to be a work around, and the evolution team appear to be waving their hands and saying It's not us, because they use OpenChange to connect to exchange and the bug is apparently in OpenChange. For me, at least, given that all my business emails have a signature that includes the corporate logo, it is no longer possible for me to send email at all (and frankly the vast majority of email these days is bigger than 1010 bytes or whatever the practical send limit is). Does anyone have a pragmatic solution that will get Evolution 3.6 working? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1052514 Title: Cannot send mail with large message body To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/evolution-mapi/+bug/1052514/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
