I am not sure to be able to salve your problem but I see you use
dosemu_1.4.0+svn.1828-1_

I use without any porblem dosemu 1.4.0 +svn.2010-1 But I haven't Upgrade
ubuntu since ubuntu 9.10.
Is 's marvelous. Never Never problem
