No worries Julian - and nicely phrased - lets get this fixed. I always scrub the old profile before the new install. I am installing generally from the LO download, except for the 12.10 install we just discussed which was from the ubuntu repos and on a brand new 12.10 install. I have been dropping some of the files from the install.
