There is a thread in wine forum http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?iVersionId=1177&iTestingId=1839 look at the comment titled OpenGL graphics problem. I suspect this bug is related with the OpenGL screensaver preview distortion reported above, because both have transparency problem or some layer that should be infront is not showing causing the image look strange. Additional info : the wine opengl problem is not showing in Edgy, only Feisty.
