Brian, I can do that, but I think the problem is that we have two new metas in Ubuntu-Studio. They were not there in 12.04 and are included in 12.10. They are included as seeds for the live ISO, but are not depends in any of the metas that are part of 12.04 (like desktop for example). So I think the release-upgrader is doing what it should... but we need to fix our seeds. My plan was to add these two metas as depends to desktop till after the next LTS (so LTS to LTS works). We hope at some point to create a plugin that allows the user to only install the workflow metas they want. If all of this makes sense to you, we can call this bug belonging to ubuntustudio-meta. -- Len Ovens www.OvenWerks.net -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1066401 Title: distribution upgrade to 12.10 omits two metas To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/1066401/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
