** Description changed: When doing manual partitioning, partition sizes are specified in MB (the text says so). It would be far clearer if after the number there was a selection button where one could specify the units (Megabytes, Gigabytes, Terabytes etc). That is, instead of: New partition size in megabytes (100000 bytes): 10 it would say: New partition size: 10 [Megabytes>] and the [Megabytes>] is clickable. + --- + ApportVersion: 2.0.1-0ubuntu14 + Architecture: i386 + DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 + EcryptfsInUse: Yes + InstallCmdLine: noprompt cdrom-detect/try-usb=true file=/cdrom/preseed/kubuntu.seed boot=casper maybe-ubiquity initrd=/casper/initrd.lz quiet splash -- keyboard-configuration/layoutcode=es + InstallationMedia: Kubuntu 12.04 LTS "Precise Pangolin" - Release i386 (20120423) + KnownReport: http://launchpad.net/bugs/998492 + NonfreeKernelModules: fglrx + Package: ubiquity (not installed) + ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-32.51-generic-pae 3.2.30 + Tags: precise ubiquity-2.10.16 + Uname: Linux 3.2.0-32-generic-pae i686 + UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) + UserGroups: adm cdrom dip fuse lpadmin plugdev sambashare sudo ** Attachment added: "Casper.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1069378/+attachment/3407589/+files/Casper.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1069378 Title: specify sizes in human readable format (e.g., 1K 234M 2G) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1069378/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
