I have read the apport-collect logs for ubiquity, but could not see any obvious problem there. May be someone with more experience can recognize more, but for now I would say, with respect to the trace in
WifiSyslog.txt ,that this is a kernel bug. A quick internet search give the hint that failed paging request to Unable to handle kernel paging request for data at address 0x0000004c pointed(along other possibilities) to incompatible hardware. Reading the trace shows ieee80211 and b43legacy which indicates a driver problem with a broadcom wifi chip/adapter , which is propably integrated. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1067899 Title: ubiquity fails installing lubuntu 12.10 ppc To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1067899/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
