I can confirm similar problems of dropped connections. It has been working stable for 1 year on Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot). Upgraded to 12.04.1 and I now have intermittent problems. Network card is RTL8191SEvA and the native driver loaded is rt8192SE. Is there an upstream fix for this ? If I install the binary driver from Realtek is there a way to remove it if it makes things worse ?
