Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mutt
Mutt doesn't seem to have an option to NOT delete the just-viewed attachment ('v' in an email with an attachment -> enter to view it using a Mailcap-defined viewer). This is annoying, because some programs (notably web browsers, and openoffice.org) run wrapper scripts that exit almost immediately if an instance is already running, which makes mutt delete the file before the attachment can be viewed. There is a workaround (save/view that file), but that's not the reason I use a highly configurable email client ;) ** Affects: mutt (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Add option to disable deleting of viewed attachments https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/123739 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
