Same happens here, using quantal fully updated. Laptop Samsung NP530U3B. If I unplug power and replug back the battery indicator remains "discharging", and I have to reboot to make it detect AC line. Right now after a reboot, acpi says Charging 99%, while battery indicator shows a very low charged percentage. Running 3.5.0-17-generic.
