Hi after looking again at the forum thread, it appears that: - the disk is Ms-Dos (not GPT) - and Windows was installed in Legacy mode ( there is no EFI partition)
so Ubiquity should have installed grub-pc for sure. Now my doubt is: did Ubiquity install grub-efi or grub-pc ? (can anyone see this in the logs?)
