What is advised is find the Ubuntu repo kernel regressor/regressee following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/KernelBisection#Before_Starting_to_Commit_Bisect_Your_Kernel_Regression , then commit bisect using the rest of the information mentioned in the article.
