Sadly I was wrong :^( I've been making a lot of mistakes lately so please accept my apologies.
I'm just testing Lubuntu Quantal live i386 20121012 and if you look at the attached screenshot you can see that the installer dialog says a partition will be removed even though no partition exists. This occurs if you select "Entire Disc" and two discs are present, one with partitions, and the desired disc having no partitions. It's certainly a low priority bug, primarily because (if the dialog is worrisome) the user can easily select advanced partitioning. ** Attachment added: "2012-10-12-124302_1366x768_scrot.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1009333/+attachment/3396371/+files/2012-10-12-124302_1366x768_scrot.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1009333 Title: Entire disc install shows partition will be removed when no partition exists To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1009333/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
