madbiologist: As the new uc have been pushed back to -updates, it's now running on my laptop and I'm still experiencing the problem. In my case iwlist reports ~15 APs with the same ESSID. We're using WPA2 Enterprise and in my case it's not only dropping off and reconnecting, but I have to disable the wireless adapter via NetworkManager and reconnect it again, to be able to reconnect.
