I don't see this as being a duplicate of the linked bug. Here's my situation: - Acer W500 (AMD C-50) - Using the open source RADEON driver A clean install of Ubuntu 12.04 works fine, but after the first update sequence (and on Ubuntu 12.10 from the start) the Launcher never appears if set to autohide unless I hit the hotkey (whether the Windows key on the keyboard or the button on the bezel.) No grey shadow appears, no adjustments in CCSM have any impact. I have not tried the proprietary drivers. Once enabled it hides and never returns without hitting the hotkey. Neither touchscreen nor mouse make any difference. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/928826 Title: Autohide broken (always hides) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/928826/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
